ABSTRACT
Using this approach, estimated vertical displacement values calculated from inclinometer measurement data taken at the TKI-Ilgın coal mine (Turkey) were in line with experimentally-determined (magnetic colon) vertical displacement values. Moreover, the estimated depths of the shear zone were comparable when using the experimental and mathematically determined displacement values.
