ABSTRACT
For the purpose of discontinuum analysis, the position and geometry of the blocks have to be identified from random distributions of fractures.The generation of blocks from these fractures is not straightforward because tedious bookkeeping procedures are required to assemble the vertices, edges and faces of the blocks.
