ABSTRACT

Now that you’re hopefully convinced that scrum is an appealing way of managing projects, it’s time to get a little more in depth about how this book is going to help you.

In Hamlet, one of Shakespeare’s characters asserts, “Brevity is the soul of wit.” By this yardstick, the principles of scrum are certainly a witty creation. It would be quite possible to satisfactorily explain scrum in a book much smaller than this one, and such a book (or, more likely, pamphlet) would be more valuable than the one you hold in your hand.
