ABSTRACT

The forensic podiatrist is an expert witness whose overriding duties are to the court. In performing these duties, the forensic podiatrist must live and work to high professional standards and within strong governance arrangements during practice, where he or she should operate to defined standard operating procedures. This chapter provides an explanation of the generic and discipline-specific standards and governance requirements. Adherence to these requirements helps to prevent errors while working as a forensic podiatrist.
