ABSTRACT
THE fact that this Bill was read a second time in the House of Commons on April 24 by 279 votes to 122 -being a majority of 157 in favour of the Bill-Once more draws attention to a painful subject, which women would fain forget, but which after such a. vote calls for action, not apathy.
