ABSTRACT
We regret to record the death of Mrs. Lawson, wife of the late Judge Lawson, in Dublin, early in February. In all movements for advancing the education of women in Ireland, Mrs. Lawson had taken a keen interest. She was active in promoting the establishment of examinations for women in Trinity College, in the founding of Alexandra College, as well. as in subsequent efforts in. connection with intermediate education, and was for many years on the committee of the Association of Irish Schoolmistresses and others interested in education.
