ABSTRACT

REVIEW, with the hope that they may in some faint fashion reflect the interest of an exhibition so well calculated to give an impetus to women's work and progress in all Scandinavian lands.

The Trades Union Congress met this year at Cardiff on Monday, September 2, and continued its meetings throughout the week. In the Congress held at N ewcastle-on-Tyne in 1891-the largest yet held-the number of women delegates was nine. This year there were but four, viz.:-

Miss E. Whyte-Women employed in Bookbinding. Miss M. Addis-Dressmakers, Milliners, and Mantua.
