ABSTRACT
In this chapter, you learn about technology and why technology is important to public safety managers. We discuss the important roles of each stakeholder within the entire process, and we discuss the lessons learned by successful public safety managers. The good thing about technology management is that you are not the first person to do it. There are many ways to manage a project and this chapter covers the fundamental concepts so that you have a basic understanding of the process.
