Bridges" That the following ladies and gentlemen be asked to serve on a sub-committee for the purpose of selecting two or more ladies willing to undertake the duties of Poor Law Guardians at the next election:- Mrs. Blomefield, Mrs. Hallett, Miss Bridges, Miss Shepherd, Mrs. Walker, Mrs. Robinson, Miss Weston, General Burn, General Jervois, Mr. Heywood, Mr. R. Duckworth, Mr. Pakenham, Mr. F. T. Inman, Rev. Eardley-Wilmot, Rev. B. N. Thompson, Rev. Hayes Robinson, Rev. Stokes Shaw and Miss Lee (hon. sec.)." The resolution was seconded by General Bum and supported by Mr. Richard Heywood (Chairman of the present Board of Guardians), and unanimously passed.
