Fleury, a student of the London School of Medicine for Women and of th& Royal Free E:ospital, has taken the first place in the Honours List of the examination for the M.B. degree~ and being first in the order of merit bas obtained the University Exhibition of £~0. Miss Fleury has had the distinction of being awarded an exhibition of £20 at the Second and also at the Third Examination in Medicine of the University, showing that her career has been a remarkable one throughout. Ori. presenting her with hel" diplomas on the 21st May. the Vice-Chan. cellor of the University congratulated Misfl Fleury very warmly on the distinctions she had obtained, and also congratulated the University on having · so distin .. guisbed a graduate. The London School of Medicine for Women and the Royal Free Hospital may also be congratulated on having produced so good a student. Miss Fleury is the firE~t woman who has taken the medical degree of the University, and it is remarkable that throughout her medical examinations she should have proved herself the best student of her year. , ..
