ABSTRACT
This chapter will explore how primary shapes and the shape spectrum featured in Section I can help us make sense of the rst element of dynamic composition: character shapes and poses. We will investigate the increased narrative possibilities of dynamic character shapes and poses, which must adapt to the aesthetic needs of the story.
