Introduction

This book is both for scholars of Wittgenstein who are interested in the roots of Wittgenstein’s views and methods in the Philosophical Investigations and for philosophers of perception who may think that Wittgenstein’s views are passé , mistaken, irrelevant or already adequately appreciated. In it, I defend two major claims.
