ABSTRACT
Mrss MUTRIE.-We regret to record the death on the 30th December of Miss M. D. :Mutrie, the well-known :Bower painter. Like her younger sister who survives her, she was born in Manchester, but since 1854 has resided in London. She sent "Fruit" to the Academy, and has since contributed almost annually to the exhibitions at Trafalgar Square, Burlington House, and British Institution. Her delineations of fruit and flowers were always graceful and natural.
