ABSTRACT

All the methods of work suggested at the Boston Convention would not be suitable for England. Every country must shape its course by its own social conditions and mo des of thought, and our English la dies do not Deed to copy servilely tbe details of an organisation suitable to our cousins across the Atlantic. But there are very many sugges60ns in Mrs. WilJard's scheme that deserve study, and rnight be usefully adopted by the thousands of our own countrywomen who are de-~irous to take some share in helping on a good cause.
