ABSTRACT
It had been a hard day. The pressure of my daily work, the many discussions, and a multiplicity of events and meetings with friends and foes – all this had sucked me from the coast of strength into the whirlpool of powerlessness and helplessness. My fatigue was boundless, and this weakness persisted until in the early evening the bounty of sleep arrived, and stupefaction snatched away my restlessness.
