ABSTRACT
There is a point to which particular attention should be drawn. In the present case it is proposed to take the children from their Roman Catholic mother, and send them to the house of a Protestant clergyman to be educated as Protestants; but the law makes no difference with regard to religion, and in another case the children of a Protestant mother might be taken from her and sent to a convent to be educated.
