ABSTRACT
JEWISH MISSION OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY.-On October 1st, a meeting was held in Fisherwick Place Church "for the purpose of commending to God two young ladies (Miss Leggat and Miss Goudy), who have been appointed teachers of a school at Damascus for the education of Syrian girls." There was a very large attendance, and much interest was evinced in the proceedings. The meeting was opened by Professor Rogers.
