NEW DELHI T he Congress at Allahabad in 1910 was presided over by Sir William Wedderburn, who was also the president of the British committee in London. The special correspondent of The Times who was present stated that the Allahabad session was characterized by a marked absence of enthusiasm and by a general chilliness of atmosphere. This was not far from the truth.
