The Clifton Association, anxious to stimulate the zeal of students, generously offers four scholarships, to be competed for in October. Each will be of the annual value of £15, tenable for two years at the University College, Bristol. Two or more of these will be augmented up to the maximum sum of £50 each, should the circumstances of the successful candidates require such aid. Holders of these scholarships, if not residing with relations, will be expected to board in some house approved by the honorary secretaries to the Association. The examination day will be Tuesday, October 3rd. Further particulars may be obtained on application to M'188 C. 'Vinkworth, 21, Victoria Square, Clifton; or to the Secretary of the College.
