ABSTRACT

Of course there is much in these institutions that is peculiar to the country, and could not be imitated in England with advantage, but many useful hints might be taken from a careful perusal of Mrs. Olivecrona's pamphlet. Dairy schools, for instance, mi~ht be establishing here with great advantage to girls mtending to emigrate. It is impossible not to recognise that Swedish women enjov greater opportunities in edu'cation and avocations than we do in England, and the success which has attended these experiments is very encouraging to us in our own efforts.
