ABSTRACT
A wife abandoned by her husband, who has left the State, or does not sufficiently maintain her, or whose husband is in the State prison, may be authorisE'd by the Supreme Council to use his personal estate, and may also sue and be sued as if unwarl'ied. She mal, under the same circumstances, obtain an Ol·der prohibIting her husband from imposing any restraint on her personal liberty.
