At the Major Examination of the Pharmaceutical Society in December, Miss Isabella G. Clarke, having passed the examination satisfactorily, was admitted a. pharmaceutical chemist. There are several ladies on the !egister 8;s "chemist~ a!ld. drug~sts," but this is the first mstance m Great Brltain 10 whICh a. lady has passed the Major Examination as a pharmaceutical chemist.
