Settlements. It should, however, be borne in mind that the husband's rights to the wife's properly, as above stated, can be defeated by settling such property to her separate use, and that property can be so settled that not only the husband, but his creditors even, cannot deal with it, while absolute powers of disposal of the same may be reserved to the wife.
