ABSTRACT
In the chapters that follow the authors analyze how the Court has interpreted various provisions in the United States Constitution and examine the theories relied upon by the Justices to develop constitutional meaning. What follows is a summary of relevant constitutional provisions and important legal terms discussed throughout this book (as defined by the authors) and an introductory discussion concerning the two most popular theories of constitutional interpretation.
