ABSTRACT
Lt. Col. David Grossman speaks about the three types of people in the world. There are the sheep. These are the people who go about their lives every day, work, play, and deal with issues that concern them and their family. Then, there are the wolves, who spend their time looking for opportunities to exploit the sheep or harm them. These are basically your criminal elements, terrorists or aggressors of any kind. Standing in their way are the sheepdogs. The sheepdogs watch over the sheep, protect them, direct them at times, and deal with the aggression of the wolves. Sheepdogs in life are people like the police and military. These are the people who are willing to risk their own life to protect the values of society and the sheep, who enjoy the benefits of that society.
