ABSTRACT

A fundamental reason we design and deliver programmes is to enable people to learn. This is such an obvious statement that it is sometimes easy to make assumptions about the learning process, about how people learn both as individuals and in groups. The aim of this chapter is to present some key ideas about learning from a systems perspective.
