ABSTRACT

In this chapter we summarise what we see as the ‘sticky’ aspects of curriculum, learning and teaching in art and design. We draw together some key threads which have run through the previous chapters and sketch out the issues presented by a series of paradoxes which make learning in creative subjects challenging for all participants. This volume has looked into art and design pedagogies, and we finally look out to explore potential relevance to other disciplines, inviting the reader to enjoy sticky pedagogies to support learning for an age of uncertainty.
