ABSTRACT
The exception to anonymous assessments is the baseline assessment of knowledge, writing skills, or critical reasoning skills at the beginning of the term. These will be discussed together with specific teaching techniques in subsequent chapters. Feedback for such individually identified assessments is communicated privately. This baseline assessment is often the most important one of all.
