What Is a Lecture?

There are several different forms of lecture: ▶ Expository Form. In this traditional form, the instructor develops a presentation that treats a single topic or problem in detail and with the level of completeness appropriate to the students. Rhetorically, the exposition proceeds from major to minor points. The student’s role is to listen, take notes, and remember.
