ABSTRACT
This highest order of creativity has proven to be the most resistant to investigation because it happens so rarely. It may turn out that higherorder creativity is on the same continuum with multistage and real-time creativity, with genius on one end and everyday, real-time creativity on the other. While this continuum helps us to map creative performance, it does not bring us any closer to understanding the processes involved.
