ABSTRACT

The section on the collaborative classroom provided some guidelines for constructing problems. It also discussed the problems and patterns in written reports produced by groups as opposed to individuals. Once you have decided how the mix of collaboration and individual effort can best meet the goals of your classroom, you will still face a stack of papers. You should treat these as term papers and research reports. As with term papers, requiring students to turn in some preliminary steps ahead of time reduces the temptation for plagiarism.
