ABSTRACT
As we finish our survey—and this book, let’s consider a couple of issues that have to do with responsibility: responsibility on the one hand to people who are NOT archaeologists, and responsibility on the other hand to those who are, and may refer to our work in the future—as well as to archaeology and archaeological sites themselves.
