ABSTRACT

Consider your competition for a moment. You are entering the job market as the next generation of practicing professionals. Graduating from college means that you have completed a course curriculum designed to provide you with the basic “tools” of the trade. But, everyone else in your graduating class and in the graduating classes of every other anthropology department across the country essentially has the same baseline knowledge, and every one of those individuals is in competition for the same jobs you are considering. It is therefore essential to accumulate experiences that will build your knowledge, skills, and abilities beyond those of your competition. These last few chapters are intended to provide ideas and options for doing just that.
