ABSTRACT
The family from Bird Mountain Village had a sun-up ceremony the morning after Long Legs proposed the quest to Tigertail. I watched as they sat on their mats to discuss this new development. Flyingbird, of course, was anxious to go - she wanted to see all of the world, however far away, and however difficult it might be to get there. Bigbear thought he should go, too, to help get provisions and row the boat. Besides, he didn’t want Flyingbird and Tigertail to go without him.
