ROMAN MILITARY DIPLOMAS INDICES 1. WITNESSES The index of witnesses includes all those attested up to the end of RMD III, and represents an updated version of the lists in RMD I and n. The numbets of the diplomas in which the witness names appear are given in the NOMINA index (those published since 1954 are indicated by t before the number). First and last dates of witnesses occuring more than once are shown in the COGNOMINA index. (Imprecise date spans are not shown unless other evidence is lacking).
