ABSTRACT

The qualitative inquiry community is vast and diverse, a collection of viewpoints that complicate and contest, provoke, and push the boundaries of the field. To close this volume, we have brought together scholars who have been at the forefront of their (inter)disciplines to engage in a critical discussion over the past, present, and future of qualitative inquiry. Their responses speak, whether directly or indirectly, to the four thematic sections organizing this volume, and suggest various points of agreement and disagreement about where we as a loosely connected global community might move in the future.
