ABSTRACT
Nowadays, technology changes everything very quickly. For instance, nine thousand years ago there was a large lake on the west side of Çatalhöyük and the Neolithic people would benefit from its water, reeds, and fish, as well as the eggs of the birds which would visit the lake. Çatalhöyük illuminates the life we have lived in the last 30 years. The lifestyle of the Neolithic people was also experienced by the people who have been living around here for many years. Maybe that is the reason I am in love with Çatalhöyük. There was a canal alongside our village where his friend Osman Güven and he used to fish. As far as he concerned, 30 years ago life was better than now. Poor people could benefit from nature. It was difficult for him to go hunting as a kid, but he wanted the approval of his mother, brothers, and sisters.
