The hardest part was the waiting. That, to me, was the most difficult. I wanted it [the transplant] so bad . . . and then I would say to myself, "Good God." I would really feel bad because I was praying for someone to die so I could live. So that right there was difficult for me, you know, because I was [being] selfish. I'd think, God, you know, and now that was the hardest [part].
