ABSTRACT
The creator gave us the land to take care of; as caretakers we are not fulfilling our inherent responsibilities or exercising our inherent rights. We can't “own” the land, it's here for all to use. Our people never had specific boundaries until the U.S. government set boundaries for us—and had we been asked to establish our tribal boundaries, we could not have done so due to intertribal marriage and kinship.
