ABSTRACT
The Palus are one of the twelve Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation. Palus’ traditional territory includes the area where the Ancient One was discovered. Knowing the ancestry, stories, legends, and significance of the area, it is important that the Colville tribes maintain this fight for the Ancient One.
