ABSTRACT
I started to work on the Kennewick Man case for the Colville Confederated Tribes’ (CCT) History/Archaeology Program in January 2000. I compiled and organized the administrative record for the tribes. I researched archival records located in the tribe's history/archaeology repository in order to gather information for the Kennewick Man Cultural Affiliation Claim submitted by the CCT. I gathered evidence supporting the fact that the area where Kennewick Man was found was within the traditional territories of the Palus people.
