ABSTRACT
Design is an integral part of the exhibition environment for the overall visitor experience. Several of the Excellent Judges (EJ) developers were designers, and they are comfortable that their contributions to an exhibition are reflected in the way the Criteria and Aspects are written and assessed.
Everything on the exhibit floor is your responsibility. You’re even accountable for what you choose to leave out. It’s your job to anticipate how the audience will use the exhibit and to anticipate what they will want to know about the topic and when they will want it. You have to meet or exceed visitor expectations. If you don’t, no matter how understandable the excuse, you didn’t fulfill your responsibility.
