ABSTRACT

The previous chapters of this volume set the stage for understanding the practice of oral history and what sets it apart from other research methods. The remaining volumes of the Toolkit will help you dig into the process in detail. All five volumes complement one another without being overly repetitious. The information in each volume is intended to lead readers to the next volume. This chapter gives you an overview of the detailed information you’ll find in the remaining four volumes, presented as checklists that help you see at a glance the kind of tasks that lie ahead.

Combined, the five Toolkit volumes cover everything you need to know to do community oral history.
