Like reflection, analysis and conclusions', circulation of findings may also take place at regular times during a period of research. The discussions over what is true' or real', this is all part of what is called the politics of research', and we all need to think about the chances of any particular audience accepting what our research says. It helps to work out also how to convey the findings to those who have not been involved to date. A work is said to be legally published' if copies have been supplied to the public, whether for sale or not. Something on an open access website is automatically published. When a written report is published, an International Standard Book Number (ISBN) is obtained from the ISBN agency in country sometimes for a fee. The ISBN is a unique code for the identification of printed books, pamphlets, online and digital publications and multimedia kits containing printed material.
