ABSTRACT

Logos are symbolic designs which organizations, corporations, and groups use to identify themselves. The Starbucks logo is one of the most familiar logos in the United States and in many other countries. It identifies Starbucks coffee houses and products. As styles change and companies wish to update their images, they do so by updating their logos. The Starbucks logo is the latest one in a series used by the company. Logos are used by brands to give their products and services an identity and to say something about the company that uses them. The TWBA logo is extremely simple—a forward slash, that requires the viewer to imagine what it signifies. TWBA offers an analysis of its logo, which concludes as follows:
