ABSTRACT
It is very clear from Sackett’s recent reply to my comments on his arguments regarding style that he is upset (Sackett 1986a). I am really sorry about this, but nevertheless I consider his earlier writings and his reply to my article both to have missed the issues involved and to have misrepresented them. Perhaps the following comments will bring the literature back to a discussion of issues.
