ABSTRACT
Developing successful interactive experiences with history for kids starts with a commitment to understand young people and how they learn and a willingness to embrace new ways of developing and designing history exhibitions. This chapter explores how to engage kids with history content in exhibitions that are interactive. At its core are two questions: Can history be interactive? How can interactive history exhibits engage kids in meaningful ways?
