ABSTRACT
When we first began our collaborative work, we had very little idea about what lay before us. Yet we forged ahead. Without the benefit of a book such as this, we stumbled on an approach to collaborative autoethnography (CAE) through a process of trial and error. Over the course of working on several projects, we have modified and adapted a model that works for us. In these parting words, we give you a behind-the-scenes look at our processes that, we must admit, are works in process. We begin with a brief recap of how our team got started and our initial project and discuss in-depth our collaborative writing efforts, which is often the most demanding aspect of this kind of work.
