ABSTRACT
In this book we have argued that heritage resources, primarily archaeological resources, can cause serious problems for large-scale construction and development projects. We have provided a framework to help project managers evaluate when they should take action to keep heritage resource issues from causing serious disruptions to project schedules and budgets. In this closing chapter, we offer the following heritage management principles for project managers and project staff to follow as they navigate their way through a sensitive project.
