THE DATING OF THE LATER SITES
Although present in the sample only as single sherds, several other wares were found on sites where 'Londo' and/or 'Late Londo-ware' occurred. They included the following:
A ware with triangular wedge incising was found on Site 21 and on two Kachhi sites, 61-62 (Fig. 21, 13), where no 'Londo' material was present. Wedge incising is recorded in contexts dating from about the second century BC, eg. in Bhir Mound IV (Sharif, 1969: Fig. 23, 8 and Fig. 24, 15); at Sirkap between Phases I-II (Ghosh, 1948: Fig. 16, XXXVIII); in Scytho-Parthian deposits at Shaikhan Dheri (Dani, 1966: Fig. 36, 3-4) and at Charsada where it was current from about the first to the fourth centuries AD (Wheeler, 1962: Fig. 33, 296, and Fig. 35, 324).
